Stay with me에 꽂혀서 듣고 있다가

콜드웰 형님에게로 왔다.

정말 오랜만에 반복해서 듣는 음악을 찾았다.

 

무려 1978년도에 발표된 노래

Stay with me가 1979년 발표된 노래인걸 보면

저 당시엔 소울이 넘쳤던 듯.

 

처음에 노래만 듣고 흑인 감성 풍만하다고 생각했는데,

어라? 백인 형님(블루 아이드 소울)이었다.

 

이 앨범을 발표할 때에도

음반사가 아프리카 계열에 인기 있는 R&B 레이블이어서

앨범 표지에 얼굴을 가리고 출시했다고도 한다.
